I’m so excited for my birthday weekend! I’m heading out for dinner at Bella’s (my most favourite italian restaurant in Ottawa) with my parents tonight. Tomorrow morning I’m heading out for banana bread french toast (oh yes, you heard me right) with a dear friend! And I’m wrapping it up on Saturday night over beers with my sister, her fiancee and the boy.
I’ve gotta say, for the last half of my 20s, I’d been looking forward to my 30s. I always thought that things come together when you turn the big 3-0. And I was right on the money! Thirty was probably my favourite year to date. I’m a little sad to see it go, but I’m betting 31 will be an even bigger and better adventure.
