Aunthood

Ok ok. Althea is only five days old. But is it so wrong to start planning for the future? I don’t want to just be an aunt. I want to be a kick ass aunt. And that means my house is going to be a fun house. Crafts! Games! Books! Love! I just had to share with you some of the crafts and activities I’ve been bookmarking:

A guessing game of sink or float!

Feed the birds, tuppence a bag!

Bookmarks for a bookworm!

A nature scavenger hunt!

  1. April, will you be my aunt? If you need to practice, I’m old enough for all of these games and activities.

You’re definitely going to be a kick-ass aunt. Congratulations to you and your family!

  2. I love the bookmarks. What a simple and colourful idea. Can I send Margot over to your place to play with Althea in a few years?

  3. It’s never too early to prepare for good times! Although I think you’ll find that some of the most memorable moments are the spontaneously unplanned….like when little Althea spends an entire afternoon playing with your shoeboxes or the two of you decide to spend the day feeding ducks by the lake 🙂 Happy Aunthood! So happy for you!
