Good Shepherd Charity Design Project

Remember when I said I wasn’t sure how I could help the homeless but wanted to figure out a way to help? Well  I was flipping through the Trad Home/Lonny magazine and happened upon a charity working with the homeless. The Good Shepherd Charity Design Project is one of the first projects I’ve seen that make me think….hrmmmm….I wonder if I could do something like that here in Ottawa. The charity has brought on 23 designers to revamp 23 rooms at Women’s Good Shepherd Charity – pro bono.  A place to go for shelter, safety and comfort is a pretty wonderful place, if you ask me. Especially if you’re not used to it. In any case it’s got my wheels turning.  Brava to the lovely ladies who started up this project, the designers making over the rooms and the stores that donated home furnishing to this cause. Brava!
